Make sure you apply enough pressure to get the game out, don't just stick the paperclip or whatever you use in, push hard and it will come out every time. Click SHOW MORE.

After you do this, the console will NOT take a game, follow these steps to get it working.

Hold down the power button on the console until the xbox shuts down.
This clears the cache in the system.

Make sure to watch the light on the power brick so that it changes from white to orange!

Wait for 10 minutes or so and then turn it back on, the console should work now.

You can also set your console to Energy-saving through Settings, Power & Startup.
This will make the console go into deep sleep without staying on in the background.
This might help with the issue, otherwise you should return the console for warranty.
