How to setup the Xbox One S for 4K on your TV (2016 VIZIO P SERIES) leave a reply *HDR10 does not work on HDMI-5 which is what I did this video with my Xbox plugged into, make sure you are plugged into ports 1-4 if you want full HDR10. Did a quick little tutorial on how to properly get all the 4K settings to work on a 2016 VIZIO P Series TV which recently got the HDR10 firmware update. This is the VIZIO P-50. Each TV brand may be different, but if you can't figure out how to get all the 4K options turned on this is a good starting point. Full HDR 10 will not work on input 5 (according to the AVS Forums they are working on a firmware update to fine tune the M and P Series TV's for the Xbox One S), only HDMI inputs 1-4 support full HDR 10. I set my Xbox to 8 bit on HDMI-5 (because I sometimes get flicker on the grey menus with 10 bit), but I set it to 10 bit on HDMI-4.*For competitive gaming I run my Xbox on a MLG BenQ Monitor which has 1ms response time. For casual gaming this VIZIO TV will be fine at 19ms response time on HDMI 5 while 1-4 have increased input lag.Feel free to ask any questions.Add me on Xbox Live or follow me on twitter.
