# 10 - Abzu
Abzû is an upcoming video game simulating underwater diving, to be released on PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows platforms in 2016.

#9 - The Witness
The Witness is an upcoming 3D puzzle video game created by Jonathan Blow, and in development by Thekla, Inc. The Witness is set for release on January 26, 2016, for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows, and for iOS on a later date.

#8 - Yooka-Laylee
Yooka-Laylee is an upcoming exploratory 3D platform game for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox One with an expected release window of October 2016.[2] It is being developed by Playtonic Games, a group of several former key personnel from Rare during the Nintendo 64 era, as a spiritual successor to their work from that time period. Among them, Banjo-Kazooie designers Chris Sutherland, Steve Mayles and Steven Hurst reprise their respective roles of lead programmer and voice actor, character artist, and environmental artist.[3] Grant Kirkhope also returns as composer.

The Banner Saga is a Viking-themed tactical role-playing video game developed by Stoic, a trio of indie game developers formerly of BioWare, and published by Versus Evil. It was released as a single-player campaign, The Banner Saga – the first game of a projected trilogy – on 14 January 2014, as well as a separate free-to-play online multiplayer game, The Banner Saga: Factions, in February 2013.

Shadow of the Beast is a side-scrolling platform video game produced by Reflections and published by Psygnosis in 1989. The original version was released for the Commodore Amiga.

#5 - Adr1ft
Adrift (stylized as ADR1FT) is a first-person interactive fiction video game developed by Three One Zero and published by 505 Games. It is scheduled to be released on March 28, 2016 for Microsoft Windows, and later in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The story follows an astronaut, who floats through the wreckage of a destroyed space station with no memory of the incident. Over the course of the game, players find clues that piece together the events of the incident, and attempt to repair the escape vehicle to return home.

#4 - Salt and Sanctuary
Salt and Sanctuary is an upcoming 2D action role-playing video game developed by Ska Studios. The game will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Microsoft Windows in early 2016.

#3 - Alienation
Alienation is an upcoming twin stick action shooter with online components that is currently in development by Housemarque, the team behind the PS4 smash hit Resogun.

#2 - Firewatch
Firewatch is an upcoming first person adventure video game developed by Campo Santo and published by Panic for PlayStation 4 and Linux, Microsoft Windows, and OS X operating systems. It will be the debut video game by both companies. Firewatch follows the story of a volunteer fire lookout in the aftermath of the Yellowstone fires of 1988.

#1 - No Man's Sky
No Man's Sky is an upcoming adventure survival video game developed and published by the indie studio Hello Games. Players are free to explore the entirety of a procedurally generated deterministic open universe, which includes over 18 quintillion (1.8×1019) planets, many with their own set of flora and fauna.[1] By exploring, players will gain information about the planets that they can submit to The Atlas, a universal database that can be shared with other players of the game. Players also gain materials and blueprints to upgrade their character's equipment and purchase a variety of starships, allowing them to travel deeper into the center of the galaxy, interact in friendly or hostile manners to computer-controlled space-faring factions, or trade with other ships.
