AMD Release Mining Drivers | PS4 Pro FP16 vs Xbox One X | IBM Smash Storage Record

AMD have released drivers to specifically improve and focus on mining performance on their range of GCN graphics cards.

There is a lot of discussion that the PS4 pro's rapid packed math - FP16,is capable of equaling the performance of the xbox one x, which has a significantly higher FP32 performance. Rapid packed math allows two fp16 instructions to run at once, which in theory gives certain work loads major advantages on the PS4 Pro hardware.

Meanwhile, IBM have released a new tape drive which drastically improves the amount of storage possible, 330TB on a SINGLE tape!
