Or just drinking with friends at the Raging Thrak inn and telling tall tales of your exploits.And all in an entirely text-based environment.That’s right, Gemstone IV exist completely in text. The only graphics are those of your mind, which means, in my opinion, it has better ones than any other mmorpg that has ever been or will ever be.I’ve been playing Gemstone since 1996, and while I know many of you may be confused and bemused by the idea of an entirely text based game, I want to show you not only how to play but also why it might just be one of the most extraordinary gaming experiences of your life.
