This is a Gpa-Aka Games Played At Work. It's good one not a clone really of all the rest of the games. It stands alone in the Gundamn universe. And I like it for that. The game does still have power levels. But they play less of a role in this game. And in the beginning from what I can see. Pay2win is very minimal, it could ramp up later however.

The point of the game of course is get stronger. You get a strong starter Gundam and pilot. From there you get one more Gundamn randomly, it's usually weak as hell. But you have the chance to find better ones which is nice. You can also level different things to increase that chance.

That can also be said for pilots. You proceed like most games through the Gundamn story. How strong you are and how you maintain your characters. Determines how far you go in the stories. In all this is a fun Gundam adopted mmo.
